Violence
Violence is as much a part of life as love and laughter.
You can't have one without the other.

Miraculous Manifestations
Throughout the ages people have claimed to see miraculous images of religious significance, manifesting themselves in a variety of places including; walls, water, cloth, fruit and cheese sandwiches.
Not to put too fine a point on it, these "religious" manifestations are utter nonsense.
There is nothing to these so called miraculous images, other than an overactive imagination and a desire to see more than is really there.

The Catholic Church
The current ban on contraception and condoms, as espoused by the Catholic Church, is dangerous nonsense.
Witness the worsening AIDS epidemic in Africa to see the fruit of this most dangerous and stupid policy.
The Church wonders why people are shunning Catholicism, the Church only has itself to blame.

Undercook it, and it resembles a bullet.

The Creation of Wealth
The more wealthy that man becomes, the more dissatisfied with life he feels.
This is not due any spiritual deficit, or malaise within society, but due to profound and stupefying boredom.
Like it or not, man needs to occupy himself, and to struggle; in order to feel fulfilled.

The European Union
The concept of European hegemony, as espoused by the member states of the EU, is doomed to failure.
That will be the case as long as the European Central Bank (ECB) pursues a policy of artificially overvaluing the Euro, and individual member states break the rules regarding the free movement of labour across national borders.
