How To Negotiate

There are three golden rules wrt negotiations:

1 You cannot negotiate with an empty chair.

2 The parties involved need to know if there are preconditions necessary for negotiation, and what those conditions are.

3 Setting pre conditions for negotiation usually guarantees failure.
