Questions For Microsoft

Why have your recent Windows 10 updates completely fucked up my wifi connection?

Why can't you leave things alone?

If something isn't broken, then don't fix it!

False Hope

Allow a man a few hours to bask in the sunshine of false hope, and come the night he will have a far better appreciation of the hopelessness of his situation.

Advice To Airlines and Holiday Companies Refusing Covid19 Refunds

If you want to treat bookings, cancelled because of covid19, as a loan (instead of refunding your customers, as you are meant to do) then you should offer to pay your customers interest on the payments they have made for the bookings cancelled.

You should also offer a legally binding guarantee, backed by escrow/third party etc, that if you go bankrupt before your customer redeems his/her enforced "loan" that you will repay the money in full if you go bankrupt!

Social Distancing Discarded

Ironic that given they are clapping for the NHS, they are actually putting themselves at risk and potentially adding to the strain on the NHS.

Lockdowns Have a Limited Shelf Life

It is "ironic" that certain media organisations and "journalists" are screaming for an easing of the lockdown, given that these are the same people/organisations that are screaming that the lockdown was tardy.

Like it or not, lockdowns (ones that need the voluntary compliance of the population without them being shot or welded into their homes) have a limited shelf life.

Proper Journalists

The above photograph shows journalist from the past who didn't grandstand, promulgate their own political beliefs or try to talk/shout over the people they were interviewing.

Aside from a very small number of people, I wouldn't trust the current lot that "grace" our screens and social media to sit the right way on lavatory let alone perform as respectable true investigative journalists.

It is hardly surprising that the public's confidence in the media stands at minus 29%!

Advice To Journalists and Armchair "Experts" Re PPE

We are not the only country in the world experiencing shortages/distribution problems with PPE.

Oh, and by the way, it's called PPE not PPP as one journalist referred to it in yesterday's briefing!

Below is a thread listing SOME of the countries experiencing problems with PPE supplies.

Why is this?

BECAUSE IT'S A GLOBAL PANDEMIC, AND EVERY COUNTRY WANTS THE SAME PRODUCT IN VAST NUMBERS AT THE SAME TIME!

JOURNALISTS, ARMCHAIR "EXPERTS" AND PIERS MORGAN PLEASE READ THE THREAD BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTHS AGAIN!

Experts All!

It is truly impressive to see how many people on social media (not just journalists, Piers Morgan, politicians and those with an axe to grind) are now experts on:

- viruses
- pandemics
- supply chains
- logistics
- nudge theory
- political decision making
- sourcing medical equipment and medicines
- antigen tests and antibody tests
- statistics
- policing
- population control during emergencies etc

This is in fact all the more remarkable, given that a few weeks ago these very same people had to be given detailed instructions on how to wash their hands!
