The above photograph shows journalist from the past who didn't grandstand, promulgate their own political beliefs or try to talk/shout over the people they were interviewing.

Aside from a very small number of people, I wouldn't trust the current lot that "grace" our screens and social media to sit the right way on lavatory let alone perform as respectable true investigative journalists.

It is hardly surprising that the public's confidence in the media stands at minus 29%!

The News

Journalists tend to work to a pre planned grid of news stories, planned months in advance.

Hence, aside from the unexpected disaster etc, the "news" is pre planned to suit the media's agenda.

News Headlines

Sometimes what the media determine to be today's leading "headlines" are simply not newsworthy. Look for the real news that is being buried.

Rehashing old information, and presenting it as "breaking news" does journalism's image little good and reinforces the impression that those journalists who do this are merely chasing headlines and seeking glory for themselves rather than reporting up to date information and facts.

Don't tell people after publishing an article (that you never cleared with them first) that you are not a journalist, when you in fact describe yourself as one on the web; ie don't be a lying c*nt!
