Flies On The Wall
Many a time someone may wish that they were a "fly on the wall" during a particular meeting. However, it wise to be aware that flies are often squashed or eaten by the cat!

If I Were A Fly

A room looks so much tidier when a dead fly that has lain undisturbed for a year or so is removed.

Dead Flies
Based on my long term observations of the dead fly on my desk and the one hanging from a spider's web above it, dead flies appear to never rot they merely dry up.

Advice To Spiders
When you have gone to the trouble of spinning a web and catching a fly, the least you can do is eat the hapless corpse; instead of letting it hang there and gather dust!

It is good to save a fly from drowning in a drop of water.
