Advice To Government Departments
Saying that you "may or may not" have information on someone who may or may not still be employed by you doesn't really wash, if the internet shows many instances where that person was working for you!

Accountability
You cannot hold a government to account, if you don't know what it is doing.

Recessions
Recessions come and go, much like the seasons.
Governments who try to persuade the electorate that they can spend their way out of a recession are deluding both themselves, and the electorate.

Government
When the government says that it is not in the business of running banks, rest assured that it will not give up its newly acquired stakes without a fight.

Inequality
It is not the primary role of government to reduce inequality. The primary role of government should be to promote opportunity, in order to stimulate growth and achievement by all members of society.

Governments
Governments have experience of management, they only have experience of policy. That is why governments fail.

Casualties of War
Governments measure the success of a military operation by how few civilians have been killed. Civilians measure the failure of a military operation by how many civilians have been killed.

Hope
A regime or government that offers it subjects no hope of better things to come, but merely offers them a perpetual struggle against a state hyped "threat", is destined to be consigned to the funeral pyre of history.

Democracy
The faults and failings of democracy are well known. However, far better for social order and humanity to be able to vote a deceitful incompetent government out of office than to endure the jackboot of tyranny.

Social Engineering
Social engineering is a futile exercise performed by weak governments trying to assert their authority, on the pretext of a socially cohesive and "people friendly" agenda.
All social engineering projects are destined to fail dismally; as governments do not have the time, intellectual ability, skill or interest to think through the consequences of their actions.

Suppression of Free Speech
Governments like to control the actions of their citizens.
However, they know that if they try to overtly ban free speech their voters will never stand for it. Therefore, they dress up the legislation in the guise of trying to prevent the incitement of religious hatred.

Flying Saucers From Outer Space
There are no such things as flying saucers from outer space, being piloted by little green men.
The stories of alien visitors are an elaborate hoax, perpetrated by the US government in the 1950's, designed to cover up the work being done on experimental flying saucer technology being developed by the military.
